Inmates tend to have the same kinds of problems related to incarceration no matter where they are locked up. They also bring certain constellations of problems with them, since there is a high concentration of drug users that get into trouble with the law. They bring resultant diseases like liver and kidney disease, sexually transmitted disease and history of traumatic injuries and the results of these conditions. There is a great opportunity for health education and coaching.
